How do I create my cards and place my simplecard order?

The ordering process is quite simple. Start by choosing the size and type of cards you want. We offer a variety of designs for all occasions! Our sizes include:

  • Flat postcard, 4.25’ x 5.7”
  • Greeting card that folds to 4.25” x 5.7”
  • Flat Deluxe postcard, 8.5” x 5.7”
  • Deluxe greeting card that folds to 8.5” x 5.7”
    1. Now, choose a template for the front, then customize it with your photos (or images from our free gallery) and text. Toggle fonts, sizes and colors. Repeat these steps for the back/inside.

    2. Preview your final piece, select your quantity and extras (envelopes, gift boxes) – then register as a new customer or use your Modern Postcard customer login info and move on to checkout.
    3. Review your order, your shipping/mailing addresses and complete your purchase. Then, sit back and wait for your cards to arrive!

What kind of paper and print quality do you offer?

As a division of Modern Postcard, simplecard uses the same card stock and adheres to the same rigorous quality standards that our parent company has established over the last 25 years:

  • Environmentally responsible card stock, 100% SFI certified
  • State-of-the-art printing press for unrivaled color accuracy
  • UV coating protects color images and adds a sheen

What is included in the price of the greeting card package?

Your greeting card package price includes the printing and folding of your cards, customization on both sides, free envelopes and free USPS shipping.

I already have an online account (User ID & password) with Modern Postcard. Can I use it?

You sure can! If you’ve previously placed orders using our online ordering system, simply use the same User ID and password you previously created.

What is your turnaround time?

The turnaround time for 500 or less greeting cards is approximately 2 business days once we receive your order. To be considered received, your order must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time). Your estimated time of arrival will be listed on both the Checkout and Confirmation pages.

Can I customize the back of my cards?

Yes, you have the option to upload your own image file to any panel of your folded card. A simplecard tagline and logo will appear on the backside of your folded card unless an image file is uploaded to the backside. You can view this tagline on the back panel in the ‘Design the Outside’ step and/or the ‘Preview Your Card’ step. The tagline reads: Create your custom card at simplecard.com. Please note, if you upload an image file to the backside, the tagline and simplecard logo will not appear on your cards.

Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. Box?

Yes. Simplecard orders are shipped using USPS and your cards can be sent to a P.O. Box.

Is additional postage required for Deluxe Greeting Cards due to their larger size?

No.

How can I track the shipping of my order?

You will receive an e-mail with USPS tracking information once your order has shipped.

Can I save a design and finish my order later?

Sorry, not at this time. However, each template has a number associated with it, so be sure to jot down the number. If you need to return later, you can easily locate your selected template and complete your order.

Why does my uploaded image look like a negative?

It is likely that your CMYK Jpeg has an embedded profile causing it to invert (or look like a negative). If you have a CMYK Jpeg that you would like to use, you can either untag it (in Photoshop "save as" and do not include the ICC profile) or save it as a .tiff instead of a .jpg. Please note: we will not be reviewing your files prior to printing your order, so it is important to submit useable files.

Can I order over the phone?

Currently, all greeting card orders must be completed online. However, Customer Care is available to assist you or answer any questions. Feel free to call us at 877.416.4354.

Will I receive a proof before my order is printed?

Good news! You don’t need to wait for a proof to be sent. We actually provide a detailed, online preview of your card (front & back/inside) prior to completing your order.

Will I receive a proof of my printed envelopes?

No. Your envelopes will print exactly as you type your text, so please be sure to double-check all spelling and punctuation.

Can I get a sample of simplecards?

Please feel free to email your name and address to our Customer Care team to request a sample. If you'd prefer to call, you can reach us by calling 877.416.4354.

Can I reprint my order?

If you realize you need more cards or would like to print out another batch, you will need to begin a new order. Please note that there is no discount for reprinted greeting cards.

Can I use Modern Postcard discounts or rewards points on my simplecard order?

Unfortunately, no. Any and all offers, rewards points and discounts for Modern Postcard or simplecard may not be transferred. Thank you for understanding.

How many cards can I order with this program?

We offer quantities from 25 to 200 in increments of 25 and additional quantities of 250, 300, 400, 500.

How do I order more than 500 cards?

For larger quantities, we ask that you place your order with Modern Postcard. If you’d like to use one of our simplecard designs, simply note the template number (located below the image thumbnail) and call one of our friendly representatives at: (800) 959-8365 x2500.

How will my cards be sent to me?

Your cards will be sent to you for free via the USPS (additional fees apply for international shipments).

I already submitted my order, but I’d like to change something. Can I?

Sorry, no. Once an order is placed, it is immediately prepared and sent to print. No further changes can be made once an order is submitted.

What types of payment do you accept?

For all greeting cards, we will accept credit cards only: Visa, Master Card and American Express.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as you complete your order.

Can I ship my order internationally?

Yes, but additional fees will apply. Call (877) 416-4354 to speak with a representative about International shipping.
